You all know how I am apolitical. I thought I’d hide out until this voting thing is all over. I just make my vote and move on. I don’t tell people how to vote or to vote. I just want everyone to voice their opinions via the ballots and respect the final outcome whether they like it or not. So what did you do on Election Night? I vowed to escape and not watch. I sealed myself up in a limited capacity hotel and became a hermit. No robocalls to tell me to vote for something, no television news to count the results. Just me and the peace and quiet to pass the time.

Oh come just spend the night with me as we wait for the inevitable. It doesn’t look like there will be a final tally tomorrow. This might drag on in the courts for weeks. Ugh, this is like having a tie in a soccer game with people complaining and getting those colored cards from the refs. Social Distancing is one of those new terms we have found such as “unprecedented”, “new normal”, and “novel virus”. I actually feel like most of these terms have been around for a long time and social distancing is something I have always practiced. I’ve never been a close talker or liked being stuck in a room trapped. I actually am not someone who hates flying because I am scared to fly, but more because I hate being cooped up in a place where I can’t move around. This virus has had me stuck in small places. I like to always be out. So now that the rules are being loosened, I am going to get out of here, but still practice social distancing.
